Funnel cakes, chocolate-dipped cheesecake on a stick, deep-fried twinkies/oreos, 18″ corn dogs, all of this and more at the Big Fresno Fair. I love the fair. I especially love the foods despite how unhealthy they are. It takes 180 minutes of walking to burn off the calories of a cheesecake on a stick, 111 minutes of cycling to burn off a cinnamon roll and 28 minutes of jogging for a 1.8″ square of baklava. And I had at least five pieces of baklava last year in a period of 24 hours. Fact: I lost 2 lbs. when the Big Fresno Fair was here last year. I’m looking forward to losing another two this year. Oh, and I get free admission thanks to my employee discount.

September 25th marked the biggest launch of a video game (and entertainment media, for that matter) ever. Halo 3 sales set an opening-day record U.S. sales of $170 million. That’s a fuckton of money. I contributed $70 to that record! If anyone wants to play online (Matchmaking or Campaign), add Sochie to your friends list.
I finally activated it:

Holy crap! I love the iPhone. There’s just so many things to do on there. It’s basically a portable computer…ahem, laptop, but the novelty of having one that fits right in your pocket is jizzerific (Google that shit, it’s a word). I used to browse YouTube a lot before the emerging of “Web 2.0″. I rarely go there on my laptop but on my iPhone, it gives me something to watch while I’m on the can. The world clock, the slick interface, a not-so-clunky internet browser, and of course, the iPod feature is just something to behold. I know I sound like I’m whoring the hell out of the iPhone but it’s really that good. If there’s one thing that bugs me is that there isn’t a way to drag-and-drop song files onto the iPod section. You would have to create a play list on iTunes and then sync it with the iPhone. It’s a bit annoying but I’ll live. More impressions later.
